There are many opportunities to visit Post 16 institutions this June and July

These replace the Open Evenings that used to be held in the Autumn when students were in Year 11.

Sixth Form Provision in Ely and Soham, Bishop Laney Sixth Form aims to provide a thriving centre of academic and professional 16-19 excellence. The academic and ecclesiastic legacy of Bishop Laney (1590-1674) is significant locally, and his commitment to the importance of education and training is timeless and embedded within the Sixth Form’s culture.

CWA has an excellent track record in developing the skills and talents of our students. This is achieved through a combination of great teaching by a team of highly-trained, industry-experienced staff and excellent facilities designed to prepare students for employment and further study.

Also some bespoke days arranged with individual schools.

Comberton is a high performing, firmly established sixth form with a strong track record of both academic excellence and student progress. This is reflected in the fact that 87% of A-Level grades this year were at grades A*-C and the current Department for Education league tables show Comberton in the top 5% of all providers nationally for student progress.

We offer study programmes which include a wide range of A level courses together with an extensive and varied range of enrichment and extra-curricular activities for around 2500 students aged 16-19.

The Oakes College Cambridge is the Sixth Form provider for The Anglian Learning trust.  Formerly known as Netherhall Sixth Form Centre, it has a long tradition of A-level and Applied course education and providing excellent levels of support to young people. Since September 2018, The Oakes College has built on these great foundations and embraced its new role as the Sixth Form of the Anglian Learning Trust, providing continuity of high quality education both for students who have progressed through trust schools and for those adding the richness and diversity from within the high quality educational landscape of Cambridgeshire.

The Oakes College provides:
