Google Classroom

Google Classroom

In line with our Extended Learning Policy, each student at Bottisham Village College is provided with a secure Google account.

This is accessed through the student’s school email address and offers a range of features, most prominently the use of Google Classroom. This allows students to interact with others in their classes, submit work, receive feedback, and engage in dialogue with their teachers. Students can access the platform either through a browser on a computer, or through the Google Classroom app on a smartphone or tablet.

All homework will be set on Google Classroom. Key Stage 3 students will also record their homework in their planners, but Google Classroom will be the main platform. Any work to be completed on a separate ICT platform will be set on Google Classroom and linked through.

Year 7 students are being shown how to access their Google accounts this week during PSHE, but attached is a step-by-step guide for access should they need further help.
