Activities Week 2020
Collapsing the timetable for a whole week allows students to learn in a range of different ways. The wide variety of trips and activities on offer helps students to work collaboratively with their peers, and to embrace new environments, experiences and challenges. This year Activities Week will run from 6th - 10th July 2020
Year 7: Self-discovery and team work at Camp
Staying away from home, camping, and trying a host of physical activities helps students to gain responsibility, resilience and the ability to work collaboratively when trying new things.
Year 8: Broadening horizons
Listed below are options for Year 8 during Activities Week. We have arranged a programme to suit all interests and budgets. Whether students spend the week on a residential either sampling Belgium culture or at a Bushcraft centre, or staying in school and partaking in a range of different cultural activities they will learn a great deal from these experiences.
- Option 1 - In school
- Option 2 - The Bushcraft Company residential
- Option 3 - 'A taste of Europe' residential
Please discuss the options with your child and reply with your choice by the closing date of Thursday 13th February 2020. Please note it may not be possible to switch between activities once a choice has been made.
