Open Events 2021

Open Events 2021

We are putting together a suite of events to support & inform the choices families will be making.

At this time of year, year 6 families are beginning their journeys to identify which secondary schools to apply to for September 2022: it is no easy feat. Sometimes confusing, families must consider a range of options: curriculum, uniform, culture, transport and friendship groups. Most importantly, families must identify where young people will be happy, flourish academically and develop into successful and responsible adults.

Starting this month and far in-excess of what we were able to offer last year, we are putting on a suite of events in 2021 to help support and inform the choices families will be making.
Tours
We would be delighted to welcome you for a tour around our college on Thursday 30th September. During the visit, you will be able to meet senior members of staff, listen to a presentation from Mrs Rankine and be shown around the college by senior student leaders.

If you would like to take up this opportunity, please fill out your details on this online form.

Spaces will be limited for each time slot, so we ask that you state four preferences of time and we shall contact you as soon as possible to confirm. Additionally, in order for us to see as many families as possible, we ask that each family have a maximum of three people in attendance.

The booking form will close on Monday 27th September at 4pm.

Online Events
As well as details and information on social media, we shall welcome our community to some online webinars. Here you can hear from staff and ask key questions to help you with your choice.

Primary Schools
We shall also be working closely with our primary schools to ensure they and students have a clear understanding of all we have to offer here at the college.

We are proud of our college and extremely proud of the successes of our students, both academically and personally. It is our aim to ensure that we give our community a clear understanding of what we stand for as a college: success based on positive relationships, outstanding teaching and learning, a rich and vibrant Extended Schools Curriculum and a dedication to ensuring our students become thoughtful, compassionate and responsible members of society.
Details of events shall be available soon, but please do follow us on social media to keep abreast of college information through these means:
