Open Evening 2017Parents & carers of prospective students are invited to our Open Evening on Thursday 5th October from 5.30pm - 8.00pm
We warmly invite you come and share our passion for learning. We look forward to sharing an interactive, informative and inspiring evening, during which you will meet Bottisham’s talented students and staff and see their work; an experience that we at the college are privileged enough to have every day!
This is an exciting time to be joining our college community. As an outstanding college we continue to support all of our students achieve excellent outcomes through a challenging and enriched curriculum and a climate of high expectations and pride.
We are very proud of our wider role as a community college and we emphasise this strongly to our students because we want them leave Bottisham Village College able to play positive roles in their own communities, and further afield. We also place a strong emphasis on collaborative working: encouraging positive discourse between students, parents and staff to best support the academic outcomes and wellbeing of all our students.
Diverse and inspiring, our curriculum provides the perfect platform for our students to foster and develop their love for learning, supporting them with pathways to further study beyond Bottisham. Through our bespoke pastoral curriculum and our specialist teaching and support staff, we are passionate about every child fulfilling their potential.
The Bottisham student is one who relishes challenge, discussion, debate and opportunities to display leadership; with a continual drive not only for their own success, but also a desire to do good for others across and beyond the college community. Bottisham Village College also offers an exciting range of opportunities for students outside the classroom. We have extensive sports and arts programmes to match our excellent and expanding facilities. From baking to the Duke of Edinburgh Award, we offer an extra-curricular experience to suit every student’s needs, and we encourage students to take part in a wide range of the enrichment activities on offer.
