Christmas at BVC

Christmas at BVC

Christmas week begins with the Year 8 Christmas Fair on Monday lunchtime.

This is a long standing BVC tradition where the students in Year 8 raise as much money as possible for their chosen charity by setting up stalls selling homemade items and games. Please support them by sending your children in with some loose change to spend.

Thursday 14th December will be Christmas jumper day! We encourage your child to donate £1 towards Save the Children charity. In return, they are permitted to wear non-school uniform. Items of Christmas-related clothing such as Christmas jumpers are encouraged, however, students should not feel they have to wear these items; charity donations for normal non-school uniform will be equally warmly received.

A reminder that student Christmas lunch is available on the same day at a cost of £2.75, tickets must be purchased beforehand from the Finance Office. More details here

In the lead up to Christmas, students will be in normal lessons right up until the morning of Friday 15th December which will be a half-day culminating in an assembly, with students leaving the school site at 1.25pm.
