Creative Design

The Creative Design faculty includes design technology, art & design, music, drama, dance and food and nutrition.

In Years 7, 8 & 9 Student rotate around all subjects throughout the year ensuring they develop practical, creative skills across the curriculum.

Art and design, food and nutrition and design technology are taught in a purpose-built block which contains two general art rooms, three food rooms; including two newly refurbished catering rooms built to commercial standards, a design room with 15 PCs, a technology room equipped for design development work, a wood workshop and a multi-purpose workshop with metalworking facilities and a plastics bay.  All these rooms are based around a large project area which allows for flexible use.
