Teacher of Drama

Software Developer
Full Time (37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)
Salary: PO1 (£29,323 to £31,601)

 

Anglian Learning is a growing multi academy trust with a vision of developing a dynamic and inspirational culture of teaching and learning excellence. The current secondary schools within the Trust are based in Cambridge, Bottisham, Sawston and Bassingbourn and a hub of primary schools is also being developed.

In order to achieve this vision we are currently developing a strong central team and cross school roles to lead the schools forward innovatively and collaboratively in the core support functions. 

The Vacancy
We are seeking to appoint a Software Developer, whose school base could be negotiable, but would need to travel across the other Cambridgeshire schools within the Trust when necessary.   The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Director of ICT and will work collaboratively with the other members of the ICT and Data teams.  A primary duty will involve building on the intranet system, developed by the existing teams and now used by other schools in the area.
The post holder will need to have proven experience developing in WIMP/LAMP environments and a strong background in web programming technologies, including HTML5, PHP, MySQL, MSSQL, Javascript, JQuery, AJAX.  They will have a solid understanding of Microsoft security principles, including NTFS ACLs.  They will also have an aptitude for solutions scoping, development, deployment, training and support and enjoy identifying changing needs and developing existing systems and procedures accordingly.
